Gubernatorial candidate Byron Donalds thinks Gov. Ron DeSantis would do a superb job as President Donald Trump’s second Attorney General from Florida.

Donalds advised conservative discuss present host Benny Johnson that DeSantis, who holds a level from Harvard Law, would “make a very good Attorney General,” although he acknowledges performing Attorney General Todd Blanche is “doing a very good job” as a temporary-for-now alternative for former Attorney General Pam Bondi.

“I think he actually would make a very good Attorney General, because knowing Governor DeSantis, he will make sure that he looks through everything with a fine-tooth comb to hold people accountable. And I think that’s a spot he could be incredibly well-suited for. But there’s so many different opportunities,” the Naples Congressman stated.

DeSantis has been coy about future plans, saying this week that he was targeted on “running through the tape” in his remaining time as Governor, and denying discussions of a White House function have occurred.

“No one’s ever asked me to do anything, and I’ve never asked to do anything,” DeSantis stated.

I’ve prompt that ongoing hypothesis is as a result of he’s “one of the most well-known Republicans in the country.”
