Alex Consani Looks Like an Angel In White Gown at the 2026 Met Gala
The 2026 Met Gala theme is “Costume Art” and the costume code is “Fashion Is Art,” so sure, the focus is…artwork! And Alex Consani absolutely nailed it, strolling the pink carpet carrying a shocking white robe by Gucci…or, so we thought, till she revealed a beautiful practice of black feathers.
SOOOOO good.
Alex spoke to Vogue final 12 months about her private type, saying partially, “I think that what’s so tragic about fashion now is that people feel like everything needs to be connected to another piece of clothing that they’re wearing. The coolest people that I knew growing up were like, I want to wear this shirt. I want to wear these pants. Nothing matched. It all looked fucking ugly. But they felt beautiful.”
She added that she does not sometimes work with a stylist, saying, “I at all times thought it was solely actually well-known those that had stylists. But everybody in trend has stylists. I do know ladies that get styled earlier than they depart the home,” she said. “That stresses me out. I’d slightly die than need to put on garments which can be strategized for me to put on each single day.”
