Timothee Chalamet Reportedly Wasn’t Invited to ‘Dune: Part Three’ Event: ‘He’s Become a Distraction’
The stars of Dune: Part Three — together with Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Anya Taylor-Joy and Javier Bardem — stunned followers at an LA-area theater on Monday, March 16 to launch the brand new trailer.
But Timothée Chalametthe lead of the extremely anticipated ultimate movie within the trilogy, wasn’t there. And Rob Shuter has reported that he wasn’t even invited, thanks to his high-profile romance with Kylie Jenner and a slew of think pieces about how backlash over the Marty Supreme actor’s habits and feedback could have price him the Academy Award for Best Actor on March 15.
“He’s become a distraction,” one insider informed Shuter for his Naughty But Nice Substack on Wednesday, March 18. “Every question would have been about the Oscar loss and Kylie — not the movie.”

“He’s become a tabloid story,” the insider says. “And right now, that’s a liability.”

“This was about protecting the movie,” a supply agreed.
Chalamet did seem in a transient, praise-filled, pre-recorded message to introduce director Denis VilleneuveShuter reported.
“The cast was highlighted,” the supply added. “This way the spotlight stayed on the film.”
Dune: Part Three is ready to premiere on December 18.
