Thousands without power as strong winds move through central Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio — More than 15,000 AEP Ohio clients in central Ohio are without power as strong winds move through the world on Friday.

As of three:10 pm, greater than 14,400 of the outages are in Franklin County. Several different counties have a whole bunch of reported outages.

The outages come as strong winds are transferring through central Ohio. Wind gusts as much as 60 mph are doable all through the day.
