Thousands without power as strong winds move through central Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio — More than 15,000 AEP Ohio clients in central Ohio are without power as strong winds move through the world on Friday.

As of three:10 pm, greater than 14,400 of the outages are in Franklin County. Several different counties have a whole bunch of reported outages.

Tanger Outlets introduced it is briefly closed resulting from a power outage.

The outages come as strong winds are transferring through central Ohio. Wind gusts as much as 60 mph are doable all through the day.

These winds may pose a hazard to high-profile automobiles, trigger power outages and trigger minor harm to bushes or constructions which might be simply prone to strong winds.

AEP Ohio mentioned the excessive winds are pulling down tree branches, or total bushes in some circumstances.
