Parker Meadows injury update: Detroit Tigers OF exits after collision


MINNEAPOLIS – Detroit Tigers heart fielder Parker Meadows skilled a scary collision within the outfield.

The 26-year-old left the sport with one out within the eighth inning Thursday, April 9, in opposition to the Minnesota Twins after a head-to-head collision left with fielder Riley Greene. The collision occurred whereas chasing a fly ball in left-center area at Target Field.

Eventually, Meadows sat up, stood up and made his option to a golf cart. He sat down because the golf cart took him off the sphere, via a gap within the fence in left-center area.

Meadows and Greene collided on a fly ball within the hole from Twins first baseman Josh Bell, which Greene caught. After the injury to Meadows, Kevin McGonigle entered the sport at shortstop, and Javier Báez moved from shortstop to heart area.
