Lin-Manuel Miranda, Susan Egan, Anne Hathaway, The Jonas Brothers, and More Will Join the Disney Legends

Disney revealed the lineup of honorees who will obtain the Disney Legends Award, the firm’s highest honor. The Disney Legends Award ceremony will happen on the ultimate day of the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event offered by Visa, going down August 14-16 in Anaheim, California.

Emmy-winning tv host Ryan Seacrest will return as the host of the ceremony that may happen on Sunday, August 16, at 1:30 pm PT at the Honda Center. The ceremony can even be obtainable to stream on Disney+.

The honorees embrace former chairman and CEO Bob Iger, who spent twenty years at the helm of the Walt Disney Company; Susan Egan, Dwayne Johnson, Anne Hathaway, and Alan Tudyk, who introduced Disney characters to life onscreen and onstage; The Jonas Brothers, who formed a technology of Disney music; Lin‑Manuel Miranda, who wrote songs for contemporary Disney films; and Eric Goldberg, who animated beloved characters.

The Disney Legends Awards program is a 39-year custom of the Walt Disney Company, which started when Fred MacMurray, recognized for roles in The Shaggy Dog and The Absent-Minded Professorwas honored in 1987.
