Cardinals agree to one-year deal with QB Gardner Minshew

Quarterback Gardner Minshew is signing a one-year deal with the Cardinals, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reviews.
The contract is value $8 million, per Schefter.
Minshew, 29, spent final season with the Chiefs. While he began one recreation after quarterback Patrick Mahomes went down with a torn ACL, Minshew suffered a bone bruise in his knee that stored him out for the remainder of the season.
Minshew has began no less than one recreation each season because the Jaguars chosen him within the sixth spherical of the 2019 draft. He went 7-6 as a starter for Indianapolis in 2023, incomes a Pro Bowl berth. He began 9 video games for the Raiders in 2024, finishing 66.3 % of his throws for two,013 yards with 9 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
In all, Minshew has appeared in 63 video games with 47 begins for Jacksonville, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, and Kansas City.
With Kyler Murray on his manner out, Minshew will be a part of a QBs room with Jacoby Brissett and Kedon Slovis.
