Apple Sued by Three YouTube Channels
In a category motion lawsuit filed in California federal courtroom final week, the house owners of the YouTube channels h3h3Productions (plus H3 Podcast and H3 Podcast Highlights), MrShortGame Golfand Golfholics allege that Apple “deliberately circumvented” YouTube’s protections towards video scraping and “profited substantially” by doing so.
Apple’s investigation papers point out that a few of the YouTube movies uploaded by the plaintiffs had been used to coach their AI fashions, the criticism alleges.
