When Jessie Buckley Pic Hits HBO Max
The Bride!, Maggie Gyllenhaal‘s Gothic romance placing her spin on the story of Frankenstein, which stars Jessie Buckley and Christian Bale, is about to debut on HBO Max on May 22.
The movie will debut on HBO linear on Saturday, May 23 at 8:00 pm ET, with an ASL model additionally to be out there on HBO Max.
Released by Warner Bros. on Feb. 26, The Bride! finds a lonely Frank (Bale) touring to Nineteen Thirties Chicago to ask groundbreaking scientist Dr. Euphronious (Annette Bening) to create a companion for him. The two revive a murdered younger lady and The Bride (Buckley) is born. What goals is past what both of them imagined: Murder! Possession! A radical cultural motion! And outlaw lovers in a wild and flamable romance!
Gyllenhaal directed from his personal script, with Jake Gyllenhaal and Penélope Cruz rounding out the solid. Pic is produced by Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Talia Kleinhendler and Osnat Handelsman Keren. The govt producers are Carla Raji, David Webb and Courtney Kivowitz.
