Fire Country Season 4 Episode 12, titled “Life of a Firefighter,” will air at 9/8c on C.B.S.. Actor Shawn Hatosy returns as Battalion Chief Brett Richards to shake issues up at Station 42.
The synopsis for the episode reads, “As Station 42 battles through a relentless shift, the unexpected return of Battalion Chief Brett Richards throws the crew off balance and forces Manny to confront his growing self-doubt.”

“You’ve got two alphas in the same room, so, it is just a matter of understanding who’s the ultimate alpha and who has that decision in the moment. And so, there’s always going to be that back and forth,” the actor expressed to TV Insider.
Fire Country fans know Manny has struggled ever since Richards made him Battalion Chief. Throwing Richards in his face flips a change in Manny, and a combat for energy heats up in the course of a brutal hearth.
“We’ve set ourselves up for a really good back and forth between the struggle of power, struggle for power, but ultimately all the decisions are based on the good of the community,” Alejandro spilled to the outlet.

Richards was first launched at the start of Fire Country Season 4 following the demise of beloved Battalion Chief Vince Leone (Billy Burke). It was a rocky street with the brand new chief, and his return will not be any smoother.
