Tornado Watch extended for much of Tri-State
CINCINNATI (WXIX) – The Tornado Watch has been extended till 6 pm for much of the Tri-State.
The following counties are below the Tornado Watch:
- Adams County
- Boone County
- Bracken County
- Brown County
- Campbell County
- Clermont County
- Gallatin County
- Grant County
- Hamilton County
- Highland County
- Kenton County
- Mason County
- Ohio County
- Robertson County
- Switzerland County
A Wind Advisory is in impact for all the area till 7 pm Wednesday. Winds might gust as much as 50 mph, the climate staff says.
Most of the Tri-State is below a SLIGHT RISK (two out of 5) of sturdy to extreme storms.
Timeline of storms
Showers and thunderstorms are coming in two rounds, one within the morning and one other Wednesday night time.
The first spherical of storms with sturdy winds from the west will weaken, however thunderstorms producing sturdy gusts might have an effect on the morning commute.
The possibilities for extreme thunderstorms improve within the afternoon and into the night.

The second spherical of storms will arrive within the night, presumably prompting extreme thunderstorm warnings.

Hail, tornadoes and flash flooding are attainable.
