SAN ANTONIO – The Texas Division of Emergency Management will conduct a statewide public warning system drill on Thursday.

Between 10 am and 12:30 pm, residents throughout Texas could obtain emergency alert textual content messages on their telephones, see alerts on native tv or radio, or hear out of doors warning sirens. No motion is required.

Officials can be testing whether or not alert systems are functioning correctly and figuring out areas for enchancment.
