Sam Raimi Horror Movie Returns
Warner Bros. Pictures has launched the trailer for the upcoming horror movie “Evil Dead Burn.” Directed by Sébastien Vaniček, the sixth installment within the “Evil Dead” franchise is slated to hit theaters on July 10.
Following 2013’s “Evil Dead” and 2023’s “Evil Dead Rise,” “Evil Dead Burn” is the third standalone entry into the franchise. Souheila Yacoub (“Dune: Part Two”), Hunter Doohan (“Wednesday,” “Daredevil: Born Again”), Luciane Buchanan (“The Night Agent”), Tandi Wright (“Pearl”) and George Pullar (“It Only Takes a Night”) are all set to star within the movie.
“After the loss of her husband, a woman seeks solace with her in-laws in their secluded family home,” the logline reads. “As one by one they are transformed into Deadites — turning the gathering into a family reunion from hell — she comes to discover that the vows she took in life… live on even in death.”
The grisly trailer begins with a mom at house interrupted by a knock on the door. The visitor is revealed to be an undead corpse with chopped-off fingers and a automobile headrest by means of his cranium.
