Robert De Niro Sends Off Stephen Colbert by Slamming Trump With Epstein Jab

Stephen Colbert he has been milking the heck out of his closing weeks as host of “The Late Show” (and rightfully so). There’s been Obama, Hanks, Oliver, Stewart, and even throwing furnishings off the roof of the Ed Sullivan Theater along with his predecessor, David Letterman.

For his penultimate episode of “The Late Show,” Colbert introduced out a smorgasbord of superstar associates, starting from Aubrey Plaza to Martha Stewart. All his friends served as hosts, asking Colbert — who sat on the visitor couch — a reasonably random query, eg, “What is your favorite action movie?”

Then got here Robert DeNiro‘s flip.

The Oscar-winning performing legend — and licensed Trump hater — got here on and requested, “What number were you thinking of?”

“There’s a touch as to what the reply is, as a result of every time somebody solutions the query and offers the fallacious reply, I at all times say no; and once I give the best reply, which has occurred at the very least twice — Meryl Streep and Ethan Hawke guessed accurately — and Ethan Hawke goes instantly, ‘I do know what it’s. And then De Niro threw a curveball aimed squarely at his favourite goal.

“OK,” he replied. “Because I thought it would have been two million point five, or two and a half million. That’s the number of Epstein files Trump still hasn’t released.”

The quip obtained nice applause from the viewers and Colbert.
