Martín Demichelis: “We have to be a team that dares and doesn’t let anyone play”
Palma, Apr 30 (EFE).- The RCD Mallorca coach, Martín Demichelis, indicated within the preview of the match towards Girona, corresponding to the thirty-fourth matchday of LaLiga EA Sports (First Division), that he needs his team to “dare with the ball and not let them play without it.”
“I don’t want a team that doesn’t play and lets play, then we will look at different strategies to feel comfortable. We have managed to do quite well by removing certain sections, and when we don’t have the ball we don’t have to let play. We have to be a team that dares and doesn’t let us play, they are going to go out and break our ankles, they are going to go out and kill,” he defined.
The Argentine mirrored on what made them lose the three factors towards Alavés: “The rival, from a tactical point of view, did not change anything, and we had a controlled and dangerous game, it did not even come out in the second half, after the break, where we have the possibility of correcting, they were still waiting, many times tactics have nothing to do with it”
In that sense, he confused that Girona “will go out to compete”, so his team should “be at the same level” because the rival.
Justiniano Posse (province of Córdoba) was happy along with his team’s response after the final defeat: “There are things that are perceived and then the game is football. Today, talking to the boys about what the week was, I congratulated them because I was happy with the four days we spent. Whoever it is time to go out and play will go out to compete, to win.”
The coach recovers Zito Luvumbo after two weeks of damage, though he didn’t need to reveal whether or not he’ll be within the beginning eleven tomorrow or will be on the bench. EFE
