Free agent Jaquan Brisker reaches deal with Steelers


The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to a one-year, $5.5 million deal with security Jaquan Briskerhis brokers instructed NFL Network.

Brisker was the second participant drafted by Chicago Bears common supervisor Ryan Poles in 2022 with the No. 48 decide, 9 picks after nickel cornerback Kyler Gordon.

The former Penn State standout gained a beginning job as a rookie and began 15 video games in every of his first two seasons. A concussion — his third in three seasons — in 2024 restricted Brisker to 5 video games.

Brisker, 26, had his first totally wholesome season in 2025, when he began all 17 video games at sturdy security and performed 100% of defensive snaps. He completed tied for second on the Bears with 93 tackles and had eight passes defended, three quarterback hits, one sack and one interception.
