Former Colts wide receiver TY Hilton announces retirement – Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Former Colts wide receiver TY Hilton introduced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday.

Hilton performed for the Colts from 2012-2021. He hauled in 638 catches for 9,812 yards and 53 touchdowns in his time in Indianapolis.

Hilton led the NFL in receiving yards in 2016 with 1,448 yards. He had 5 1,000-plus yard seasons and was named to the Pro Bowl 4 occasions.

Hilton final performed within the NFL in 2022, enjoying three video games for the Dallas Cowboys.

He introduced his retirement by posting to X (previously Twitter):

“After an unimaginable journey, it is time for me to retire from the sport of soccer and start a brand new chapter.

Thank you to Mr. Irsay, his household and the complete Colts group for believing in a child from Miami and giving me the chance to dwell out my dream carrying the horseshoe.

I additionally need to thank the Cowboys group for giving me the chance to proceed enjoying the sport I like.

To my teammates – thanks for the brotherhood. The early mornings, lengthy practices, and the battles on Sundays are recollections I’ll carry with me without end.
