Every new Pal in Palworld 1.0 and where to catch them
The Palworld 1.0 replace provides 72 new friends—most of which you’ll be able to catch, whereas the rest not less than provides an up to date entry to your Palpedia. That’s a giant endeavor with the expanded Palpagos map and the new World Tree area to discover, and referencing the in-game map generally is a actual ache, however that is where I come in to hopefully make the method a bit simpler.
I’ve lastly caught all of the new friends in Palworld 1.0, and now I’m simply cleansing up by catching a couple of extras. Since the replace simply launched, I’m making these maps as I am going, so hold checking for new additions. For now, areas and not using a map are there to function checklists for finishing your Palpedia.
How to catch each new pal in Palworld 1.0
This record was made to spotlight where you are almost definitely to encounter the new 1.0 friends for the primary time, however some spawn in a couple of area. Pals that pop up in a number of areas can have a word indicating different locations you’ll find them, however are solely listed as soon as to hold the method easy.
The degree suggestions do not account for bosses in the area, so hold that in thoughts earlier than you go barreling into their area. Some zones are more durable or simpler to catch new friends in relying on terrain obstacles and gear, so take them as free pointers—not onerous and quick guidelines.

Just a few suggestions to begin gathering all 72 new friends
- Make positive to catch 5 of each pal for bonus XP and a Mimog Effigy.
- Use the Pal Tamer’s Glasses, Ring of Mercy, or a pal with Mercy Hit so wild friends do not drop beneath 1 HP earlier than you possibly can catch them.
- Think you will have sufficient Pal Spheres? Wrong. Catching a number of of every pal for bonuses or higher passives meant I by no means had sufficient, so hold stocking up.

Recommended for Levels 1-30
You’ll start Palworld in the Plateau of Beginnings on Windswept Island—where gradually heading north nets you a few new 1.0 pals. You should encounter Pupperai and Clovee first, while Tanzee Ignis and Wispaw spawn closer to the Autumn Rocks.
My next catch was an Amione floating over the water, and finally one of the scads of Mufflies in the Moonless Shore.

I caught the angry little lightning pup Puffolt in the Bamboo Groves first, and Elgrove is in the same area, so their spawns overlap in the map above. Then I wandered into the Twilight Dunes, and found Skutlass along the beaches while searching for Hardwood.
Just watch out right here, I used to be a bit below leveled to be selecting fights with the extent 30+ friends in the desert, and I paid for it greater than as soon as.

Recommended for Levels 25-35
Leafan wasn’t hard to catch in the Verdant Brook, but you’ll have to craft cold-weather gear before going for Snugloo in the Frostbound Mountains. I found that the older pals lurking around here posed more of a challenge than either of the newcomers.

Mount Obsidian
Defrost with a pitstop to catch Moldron
Recommended for Levels 35 – 45
There’s only one new pal to capture on Mount Obsidian, and even though it’s on Bicornis later, I picked up Moldron early to be my Kindling pal until reaching endgame upgrades. You’ll have to make a stop by Mountain Obsidian eventually, anyway, so no harm in netting the fiery lizard. Just make sure you’ve crafted a set of heat-resistant armor—it gets a bit warm here.

The Desiccated Dunes make for a fairly easy tour around the block for four new pals. Needoll, Gildra, Sekhmet, and Tetroise can all spawn in the same areas, so they overlap in the map above, but Sekhmet and Gildra seem a bit rarer. When you’re done here, head to three of the neighboring islands for another four pals, but beware of the hostile drones patrolling the Wildlife Sanctuary. They hit hard.

Dualith
Recommended for Levels 40-55
Suit up before this trip, as the Astral Mountains make for another frigid trial where the cold is just as dangerous as the local wildlife. Catching a Dualith at the foot of the mountain wasn’t so bad, but Rayhound Crysts seem to prowl around the snowy summit in packs. It makes for an easy time catching the five you need for bonuses, but I agitated a few too many of them while underleveled (again) and didn’t have the best outcomes.

Skill: Resonant Guardian
Panthalus is a tough pal to catch, but you’ll need to capture the flying while in order to enter The World Tree. The fight takes some prep work, so I suggest referencing our in-depth guide on how to get Panthalus.
Astralym (Boss)
No. 204
You’ll face Astralym because the final boss of The World Tree area, however there is no manner to catch it. Like the opposite friends with a human coach, it is off limits, and it does not drop an egg to hatch on the finish of the encounter. For now, you will have to accept a obscure entry in the Palpedia.
