‘Dungeon Crawler Carl’ Peacock Series Casts Audiobook Narrator Jeff Hays
Peacock‘s Dungeon Crawler Carl collection has solid its first actor — one who will probably be acquainted to those that have listened to the audiobook variations of Matt Dinniman’s novels.
Jeff Hays, the narrator and producer of the DCC audiobooks, will voice the character of Princess Donut within the live-action collection. Princess Donut is a key character within the books, a cat belonging to Carl’s ex-girlfriend who acquires the power to talk once they grow to be a part of a survival sport present run by the aliens who’ve destroyed most of humanity.
Hays joined Dinniman and Matt Yost, author and govt producer of the Peacock collection, on stage Thursday at Comic-Con to announce his casting.
Peacock placed a series order for Dungeon Crawler Carl in June. The present comes from Universal Global Television and Seth MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door Productions, which maintain the rights to Dinniman’s e-book collection. Yost (Maul: Shadow Lord) is govt producing with MacFarlane, Erica Huggins and Rachel Hargreaves-Heald for Fuzzy Door. Dinniman is a co-exec producer.
