Cruz’s endorsement of Toth comes after he and Crenshaw break up over Cruz’s ROTOR Act, an aviation security invoice.

Crenshaw voted towards the invoice Thursday.

Aside from disagreements over laws, Crenshaw believes Cruz has extra financially-based causes for his endorsement. He famous that Robert Marling, CEO of Woodforest National Bank, financially supported Toth after Crenshaw urged investigators to look at Marling’s $20 million funding in 2023.
