Dale Warner jury reaches verdict in murder trial


Adrian — A jury has reached a verdict in the murder trial of a distinguished Tecumseh farmer accused of killing his spouse and hiding her physique in a resealed fertilizer tank.

The Lenawee County jury will reveal its verdict early Tuesday night following a number of days of deliberations in the five-week trial of Dale Warner.

Warner, 58, was charged with killing his spouse of 15 years, Dee Warner, and concealing her physique in a fertilizer tank on the couple’s property. He confronted the potential of life in jail if convicted.

The case centered on the disappearance of Dee Warner, 52, in April 2021. Her physique was found in August 2024 inside a resealed and repainted fertilizer tank in a storage constructing on the Warners’ property in Tipton, a number of miles from their farm close to Tecumseh.
