“Love on the Spectrum” couple Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman have reportedly part ways after almost 5 years collectively.

“Sadly, it’s true that David and Abbey broke up,” an insider told the US Sun Thursday.

“They couldn’t come to an agreement on when to get married. She was ready years ago, he still needed time.”

Another supply shared that Isaacman was “doing very well.”

Reps for Isaacman, 31, and Romeo, 27, weren’t instantly out there to Page Six for remark.

The exes met on Season 1 of the Netflix sequence in 2021, which exhibits adults with autism diving into the relationship pool.

Most not too long ago, the duo celebrated their fourth anniversary in July 2025, and Isaacman gifted Romeo a diamond bracelet from Brilliant Earth.

Despite allegedly calling it quits over a marital disagreement, Romeo advised producers throughout Season 4 of the sequence, which was launched on April 1, that she and Isaacman weren’t able to tie the knot.

“We already feel like we’re already married in our hearts,” she defined, per People.

Romeo candidly admitted that she fears being divorced like her mother and father and did not wish to “rush” down the aisle.

However, the TV persona advised her mother Christine that she wished “to be a bride so badly.”

At one level in the season, co-stars Madison Marilla and Tyler White obtained engaged, to which Romeo advised Isaacman, “Hopefully we’re next!”

“We can only be engaged whenever the time is right,” Isaacman responded.

Romeo has beforehand opened up about his relationship with Isaacman, stating that they bonded over their shared situations of autism and synesthesia, which “is a phenomenon that causes sensory crossovers, such as tasting colors or feeling sounds,” by the Cleveland Clinic.

“We understand each other [and] the way our minds work,” she advised “Today” in 2025. “We’re kind and patient with each other and we’re our true selves.”

The actuality star additionally wrote a heartfelt song about Isaacman final 12 months, titled “Boyfriend Forever,” singing, “You perceive me, remind me to breathe / Being with you is straightforward, you are simply who I would like… I wanna be your girlfriend perpetually / Will you be my boyfriend?
