At least 23 people injured in Oklahoma lake party shooting: Police


At least 23 people have been injured in a shooting that erupted Sunday evening throughout what police alleged was an “unsanctioned” lakeside party in Edmond, Oklahoma, that had been marketed on social media and drew a big crowd of younger adults.

The capturing occurred at round 9 pm at Arcadia Lake in Edmond, about 14 miles north of Oklahoma City, Emily Ward, a spokesperson for the Edmond Police Department, stated throughout a convention Sunday evening.

“The incident occurred during an unsanctioned party that began after dark and was advertised across multiple social media platforms, drawing a large crowd of young adults from across the metro area. The event was not a permitted or reserved gathering,” in accordance with the assertion.

Edmond cops responded to Arcadia Lake and the close by Scissortail Campground after receiving a number of 911 calls from people reporting pictures fired.
