Kartal, who beat Lanlana Tararudee in straight units within the first spherical, stated she’s going to “do everything” to face Keys within the final 32.

“It was a very powerful match in the present day, however I’m super-happy with the win,” Rybakina said. “She performed rather well.

“She was staying aggressive. She has a good serve. I had my opportunities, didn’t get them from the beginning and then I was struggling in the second set, was rushing a bit.”
