After the unveiling of late husband Ozzy Osbourne‘s statue at France’s Hellfest on Thursday, June 18, Sharon revealed why she could not make the ceremony on her social media.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t be at Hellfest for the unveiling of Ozzy’s statue. Unfortunately I had an unexpected trip to the hospital earlier in the week,” Sharon, 73, wrote.
“An enormous thanks Olivier Garnier, Ben Barbaud and everybody at Hellfest. Special thanks to @philippe_pasqua_officiel for the completely beautiful statue! 🙏” she continued.
Sharon didn’t present extra details about the journey to the hospital.
Over the years, Sharon has been open about her well being journey. Most lately, in 2022, she was hospitalized due to a sudden medical emergency.
In January 2023, she appeared on the UK’s TheSpeak and stated that she fainted whereas she was filming.
“It was the weirdest thing,” Sharon said in a clip from the interview. “I was doing some filming and suddenly they told me that I [passed out] for 20 minutes. And I was in hospital, I went to one hospital, they took me to another hospital, and I did every test over two days, and nobody knows why.”
In 2020, she revealed she was briefly hospitalized after she examined constructive for COVID-19.
