Schools announce delays, closing with winter weather advisory in effect


Some college districts are saying delays with the area beneath a winter weather advisory till 11 am Monday, March 2.

A messy mixture of snow, sleet and ice accumulations are possible throughout the area Monday morning, in keeping with the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Fairfield, Hamilton and Ross faculties in Butler County are beneath a two-hour delay.

Walton Verona Schools in Boone County are closed for the day.
