Iron Fire reaches 24,000 acres, burning across three counties in central Utah

EUREKA, Utah (KUTV) — The Iron Fire was mapped at greater than 24,000 acres on Monday, with the hearth burning across Juab, Utah and Tooele Counties.

The Iron Fire grew to a complete of 24,000 acres with 0% containment as of Monday morning, in keeping with Watch Duty.

The wildfire ignited Friday night time and grew about 20,000 acres inside simply over a 24-hour interval. The fireplace pressured evacuations for the city of Eureka and neighboring ranches, because the wildfire burned as much as the city borders.
