Fever respond to Brianna Turner allegations that players were told to ‘keep quiet’ regarding male staffer being fired for sexual harassment


The Indiana Fever have issued an announcement responding to a social media post from former player Brianna Turner alleging that a male staffer was fired by the workforce final season due to sexual harassment and players were “encouraged to keep quiet about it.”

“Protecting our players and employees and maintaining a respectful, professional workplace is our top priority,” stated the Fever‘s assertion (via The Athletic’s Annie Costabile).

“Our policy is to take concerns seriously, investigate thoroughly, and act promptly when appropriate to protect the people in our organization and ensure everyone is treated with professionalism and respect,” the assertion added.

The Fever concluded by saying the workforce doesn’t touch upon personnel issues involving former staff to preserve “trust and safety” in that investigative course of.
