Breeze Airways delays restart of Pittsburgh-Los Angeles direct flights
Breeze Airways will delay the relaunch of nonstop flights from Pittsburgh International Airport to Los Angeles.
Spokesman Ryne Williams mentioned the seasonally accessible route was initially scheduled to renew on May 7.
That has now been pushed again to June 2, “due to rising fuel costs,” he informed TribLive Monday.
The flights will likely be accessible Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays as soon as they resume.
Williams mentioned the provider gives flights to 16 locations from Pittsburgh.
United Airlines in January announced it could reintroduce every day nonstop service to Los Angeles International Airport beginning final month. It had final provided direct connection between the 2 cities in 2014.
American Airlines in 2024 added every day nonstop flights to LA, reviving a route it hadn’t flown since 2017.
