We May Know Why Jauan Jennings Left Without a Deal

Last week, the Minnesota Vikings hosted former San Francisco 49ers extensive receiver Jauan Jennings for a free agent go to that lasted a couple of days and seemed to be a good match for each events concerned. Jennings left Minnesota with out a deal, and the whole lot has been pretty quiet since then. There could also be a purpose for that, and if the reason being what’s being reported, you possibly can in all probability count on issues to stay quiet, a minimum of on the Vikings’ facet of issues.

Albert Breer or Sports Illustrated It is reported that Jennings is in search of “WR2” cash to signal with a group in free company. Obviously, we won’t say whether or not or not that is the case, however whether it is, it could clarify why he is gone unsigned so far within the free company course of.

Free company began proper round two months in the past, and no NFL group has been compelled to signal Jennings to a deal that may give him “WR2” cash. At this level, there aren’t too many groups that also have that type of cash simply laying round, I do not assume.

Minnesota actually is not a type of groups, on condition that Justin Jefferson is making “top 5 wide receiver in the NFL money” and the group simply picked up the fifth-year choice on Jordan Addison’s contract, a transfer that may very well be a precursor to a contract extension that may lock him in as Minnesota’s WR2 goes ahead.

My guess is that the nearer we get to the beginning of coaching camp, the extra Jennings’ price ticket goes to go down. There’s nonetheless a probability that Jauan Jennings might turn out to be a Minnesota Viking in some unspecified time in the future this offseason, however so long as his price ticket stays elevated, I actually would not count on it to occur any time quickly.
