‘Violent Night 2’ Trailer Introduces Kristen Bell as Mrs. Claus

Santa’s naughty record is getting a bit of longer within the first trailer for Violent Night 2which bowed at CinemaCon Wednesday in the course of the Universal presentation. David Harbor stars as a vengeful Santa Claus within the sequel to the 2022 unique, with Kristen Bell becoming a member of the franchise as Mrs. Claus.

The footage started with Harbour’s Santa, who has been kicked out of his gig on the North Pole and finds himself wandering round a mall on the holidays. He stumbles upon the mall Santa setup and sees youngsters writing their want lists as he confides in them that “maybe I killed too many people.” Harbor goes on to turn out to be the mall Santa himself, when it is revealed that his elves are out to kill him through a mission from Jared Harris’ villain.

As he fights off assaults throughout the mall, Harbor guarantees “I have reinforcements coming” — which units up the arrival of Bell, who declares, “Get your own man, he’s taken” as she swings in to save lots of him. And do not count on the often dowdy Mrs. Claus; she’s rocking a classy purple match with white trim, accompanied by some critical weapons expertise.

Tommy Wirkola once again directs Violent Night 2with producers Kelly McCormick and David Leitch of 87North again, together with screenwriters workforce Pat Casey and Josh Miller.

Newcomers to the solid embrace Daniela Melchior and Joe Pantoliano.

In 2022, Wirkola told The Hollywood Reporter I had ideas of components for a sequel that did not match into the unique. “We don’t see the North Pole, we don’t see Mrs. Claus and we don’t see the elves,” Wirkola mentioned. “There were also a few ideas that we loved in the script, but we had to cut them because we couldn’t afford to shoot them.”

The movie has a launch date of Dec. 4.
