The Nuggets (33-17) are third in the conference and now face the East-leading Pistons (26-12), who destroyed the Brooklyn Nets 130-77 on Sunday. Denver has won four of its past six, but one of those losses was by two points to Detroit without Jokic a week ago. Detroit has won eight of its past 10 and is a 4.5-point home favorite in the Nuggets vs. Pistons odds. The Pistons are covering in 58% of the SportsLine Projection Model’s simulations, and the model gives a ‘B’ grade to Over 227.5, which hits 55.4% of the time. The model has an ‘A’ grade on Atlanta +143 on the money line, as he wins in 55% of the time in Hawks vs. Heat. Miami is a 5.5-point road favorite against Buffalo (14-8), which has lost six of its past seven games.
