Monday night Orioles game thread: @ Yankees, 7:05

The Orioles will attempt to win tonight to keep away from a four-game sweep and a five-game shedding streak. After watching the final 4 video games, it is arduous to get numerous enthusiasm up for this one, I’ll be sincere. I’ve been feeling fairly low about this workforce of ours. But I additionally know that in the event that they do win, particularly if it is a kind of feel-good wins, my tune will change identical to that. That’s the character of fandom, I assume.

Shane Baz will attempt to play stopper tonight, and he’s coming off of a great begin towards the Houston Astros. The Astros are additionally a powerful offensive workforce, and we have been informed that Baz is able to ace-like stuff. We have not seen it, however Mike Elias thinks numerous him and I’m dying for him to be confirmed proper.

Unfortunately, the tremendous scorching Cam Schlittler is pitching for the Yankees, he of the 1.51 ERA and league-leading WHIP and Okay/BB. Ugh. At least he isn’t a lefty.

Taylor Ward and Tyler O’Neill are each given the night off tonight, changed by Colton Cowser in left subject and Dylan Beavers in proper. Do one thing, Colton! We need to imagine. Coby Mayo additionally will get the night off; Blaze Alexander will man third base.

Speaking of third base, if you happen to missed it: Jordan Westburg started feeling elbow discomfort when throwing and being shut down from all baseball actions. This is no surprise to me, however it’s a bummer. When will we be allowed to have good issues?
