Youssef Zalal | Living With Purpose
“With my first career run in the UFC, I really didn’t take purpose. I feel like that’s the biggest difference, and the effect that he has on me is the purpose that I decided to switch and really follow. I think it’s a learning experience and it’s a life experience, and I know he’ll be a part of me, and I can’t wait to represent him even more, and I’ll represent him until I’m the one that’s gone.”
Zalal made his skilled MMA debut in August 2017, rattling off six straight wins, with 5 of them coming by submission. Two and a half years into his professional profession, he received the decision to make his UFC debut in Houston, Texas. After successful three straight, Zalal handled some street bumps, dropping three straight and getting handed a draw, which in the end led to him getting minimize from the roster.

For a child in his twenties, Zalal admits he did not deal with issues effectively.
“I actually did not know what was going to occur. I had no clue. I feel that is one of many first occasions I sat down and was like what’s subsequent? I keep in mind the cellphone name I received from my supervisor. He was like, ‘what would you like me to push for?’ And I used to be like, ‘I would like that UFC again, and I wish to get that style out of my mouth.’ I feel that is when I discovered my function, discovered my why, and understood my why.”
