Ayush Mhatre has been retired out by Chennai Super Kings within the IPL 2026 match towards Delhi Capitals on Saturday (April 11).

The India U19 star, who got here in after Ruturaj Gaikwad’s dismissal, was taken off when he was batting on 59 runs off 36 deliveries.

Ayush had performed an honest knock and added an awesome partnership with Sanju Samson. He had hit 3 boundaries and 4 sixes and added 113 runs in 68 balls with Samson on the 2nd wicket.

Why was Ayush Mhatre Taken Off?

Ayush Mhatre was taken off as he is not an influence hitter within the dying overs.
