Rock the Country music festival pulls stop in Anderson from schedule
ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) – Rock the Country announced that it has canceled its stop in the Upstate.
Organizers said the festival, originally scheduled to be held in Anderson on July 25 through July 26, was canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
The Anderson County Administrator issued the following statement:
Those who purchased tickets have been given two options. You can transfer your tickets to another Rock the Country stop and receive a $50 merch voucher to use on site or you can request a full refund by completing the form sent to your email.
According to organizers, lineups vary by city. The Anderson lineup had Kid Rock and Jason Aldean headlining and also featured Creed, Shinedown, Brantley Gilbert, Ludacris, Gretchen Wilson, Parmalee, Morgan Wade, Chase Matthew, Lakeview, Fox N’ Vead, and other national headliners and rising artists.
On Friday morning, Shinedown posted on X that they made the decision to not play at the festival.
