Savannah State University mourns death of former president Dr. Earl Yarbrough
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Savannah State University introduced the death of former president Dr. Earl Yarbrough, whose management and repair helped form the legacy of the establishment.
The college stated Yarbrough devoted his profession to advancing greater training and strengthening the mission of Savannah State University, Georgia’s first traditionally Black school and college.
Legacy of service
University officers stated Yarbrough’s dedication to pupil success, tutorial excellence, and group influence left a long-lasting mark on the campus and the generations of college students who adopted.
Savannah State University stated it extends condolences to Yarbrough’s household, mates, former colleagues, and all who have been touched by his management and repair.
“The Savannah State University community honors his life, his contributions, and the legacy he leaves behind,” the college wrote.
