Rob Gronkowski Talks About His Sports Card Collecting Passion Amid Current Trend

New England Patriots legend Rob Gronkowski talks about which participant’s card he would most like to drag.

The New England Patriots legend mentioned he has been within the “collecting game” since he was a child and is diving again in because the passion has emerged in reputation as soon as once more.

“That’s when collecting trading cards was huge,” Gronkowski informed FOX Business. “That was at its peak and then it kind of dipped a little bit, and now it’s at its super peak.”

“I collected baseball cards and NHL cards. Those were my two favorite hobbies to do.”

Before taking the stage at The National Sports Collectors Convention on Aug. 1, Gronkowski is teaming up with eBay Live to launch “Gronk Geeks Out.” The new collection will observe the 37-year-old as he dives headfirst into the world of collecting and learns the ins and outs of the passion.

One of Gronkowski’s associates made it some extent to gather as many playing cards from the previous Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight finish as potential throughout his taking part in days.

“My buddy was a big collector throughout my career, and he was buying cards on eBay of myself,” Gronkowski mentioned. “He did it for like 10 years straight. Then he finally told me, and he has like a hundred of my playing cards, and he said he bought them all off of eBay. He says they’re worth even more now. So he’s all pumped.”

As for Gronkowski, he mentioned there may be one participant’s card that he would wish to pull greater than anything.

“If I ever pulled like a one-of-one, or perhaps a quantity like a one-of-10 Michael Jordan card, that may be completely legendary,” Gronkowski mentioned. “I don’t even know if it’s possible anymore or not, but a Michael Jordan pull, a numbered Michael Jordan would be my ideal pull.”
