After Facing Backlash For Appearing In Bad Bunny’s Halftime Show, Alix Earle Responded


Alix Earle responded to backlash over her appearance at the Super Bowl halftime show.

During Bad Bunny’s performance, you might have noticed many familiar faces in the casita. These included Pedro Pascal, Cardi B, Karol G, Jessica Alba, and…TikToker and Hot Mess podcaster Alix Earle!

It’s not super clear how Alix was invited. The running theory is that she was there with mogul David Grutman, who co-owns a restaurant with Benito and is working on an upcoming reality show about Alix, but nothing is confirmed.

However, when the Dancing With the Stars alum posted a behind-the-scenes montage at the show, the comments were…less than thrilled:

In her story, Alix shared an image of Bad Bunny’s final message — “The only thing more powerful than hate is love” — with the caption, “It was such an honor to experience such a special and powerful performance.”

And she further responded to a comment saying her appearance was “unbelievable and undeserved” by claiming that she has used her platform for the message the artist sends, adding, “being invited to do this was such an incredible experience and so special.”

Despite rumors, Alix has not publicly affiliated herself with either political party and is registered as an independent in Florida. Last year, posts that she made when she was 13 that included racial slurs resurfaced, for which she apologized. She is the founder of a Miami nonprofit that helps provide meals for those in need.
