Fast-moving wildfire in central Utah consumes 10,000 acres in hours Monday
SALT LAKE CITY — Homes and cabins in the HiLo space and Eagle Point close to Beaver have been suggested to evacuate resulting from a fast-moving wildfire in the world.
The US Forest Service introduced the evacuation advisory, which originated with Beaver County Emergency Management, on X.
The Cottonwood Fire began Monday afternoon and grew rapidly. Homes and cabins in Eagle Point, Merchant Valley, HiLo Estates, Arrowhead Summer Homes and surrounding areas have been below necessary evacuation orders, with recommendation to move east to Junction.

Utah Fire Info named the hearth the Cottonwood Fire. As of Monday evening, the blaze had burned 10,000 acres and was 0% contained. The reason behind the hearth stays unknown.
A piece of state Route 153 was closed in each instructions because of the fireplace. Multiple floor and air assets reply, together with native and state fireplace departments. Smoke was seen from I-15 and I-70, in addition to US-89.
