US Coast Guard helicopter reportedly crashes in Alaska: USCG
A United States Coast Guard helicopter has reportedly crashed in Alaska, the Coast Guard stated Monday.
First responders and search and rescue crews are responding to Sitka, close to Juneau, for a “reported crash involving a Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter,” the US Coast Guard Arctic District stated on social media.

The explanation for the incident is unknown presently, the Coast Guard stated.
“The safety, well-being, and rescue of our crew members is our absolute, immediate priority,” the Coast Guard stated. “A formal investigation will be conducted to determine the circumstances surrounding the event.”
